Coconut Sugar

Coconut sugar, a healthier alternative with a low Glycemic Index (GI), is crafted from the sap of the coconut palm—an inherently sugary circulating fluid within the plant. This sap undergoes a cooking step to stabilize it and transform it into a granulated form.

Coconut sugar, a healthier alternative with a low Glycemic Index (GI), is crafted from the sap of the coconut palm—an inherently sugary circulating fluid within the plant. Every day, farmers climb several coconut trees to collect the sap, which undergoes traditional cooking until it transforms into a viscous liquid sugar. Supervised by our internal control system, adhering to European organic certification regulations, this process ensures quality. The liquid sugar is then transported to our facility, where it undergoes meticulous cleaning and processing, ultimately manifesting as granulated coconut sugar through rigorous adherence to HACCP procedures.

We offer our coconut sugar in granulated form, resembling brown cane sugar but with a more natural brown color and a softer texture.

How to Use

Coconut sugar can be used in many applications such as your coffee, tea, milk, or any cooking applications. It gives more caramel notes than cane sugar with a slightly coconut aroma. It helps retain the moisture in your baking, keeping your cakes and breads fresh longer.
